A cooling catafalque designed for your funeral chapel

The appearance of funeral equipment matters, particularly in a viewing room where families gather to say goodbye.

This wood-finish cooling catafalque offers an elegant alternative to conventional metal-clad refrigeration equipment.

The decorative exterior panels can retain their wood-effect appearance or be painted in a colour selected by the customer, allowing the unit to complement traditional or modern funeral chapel interiors.

When ordering, simply provide your preferred colour or a colour reference so that the final finish can be confirmed.

Refrigerated body presentation with glass viewing

The refrigerated funeral catafalque provides a transparent glass upper section for viewing the deceased while maintaining controlled refrigeration conditions.

The standard operating temperature is adjustable from 0°C to +10°C. Optional configurations down to -3°C or -5°C are available at an additional cost.

Integrated LED lighting enhances visibility inside the presentation area, while the stainless steel interior facilitates regular cleaning.

Dimensions and practical use

The wood-effect catafalque measures 260 × 90 × 101 cm (L × W × H) and accommodates one body in a coffin without a lid.

Its wheeled construction with brakes allows the catafalque to be positioned within a funeral home or chapel.

The unit operates on a 230 V electrical supply.

Wood-effect or metal-clad refrigerated catafalque?

Prima-Tech offers a separate metal-clad refrigerated catafalque with the same dimensions and refrigeration functions.

The difference is the exterior finish:

• Wood-effect model: decorative panels with the option of painting them in a selected colour.
• Metal-clad model: lacquered sheet-metal exterior for a more technical, contemporary appearance.

Both models are intended for the refrigerated presentation of one deceased person.
